Материа медика Français : Ce livre, compilé par Chen Jiamo en 12 juans, édité par Ye Fei et Hu Yiguan et complété par Liu Kongdun, a été publié au cours de la première année du règne Chongzheng (1628). Le titre sur la couverture, Une nouvelle édition élargie du manuel de la Materia Medica, avec illustrations, imprimée par Zhou Ruquan dans son atelier, Wan juan lou (le pavillon aux dix - mille volumes), indique que l'œuvre originale, publiée en 1565, ne comportait pas d'illustrations. in 12 juan, edited by Ye Fei and Hu Yiguan, and supplemented by Liu Kongdun, was published in the first year of the Chongzheng reign (1628). The title on the cover, A New Expanded Edition of Primer to the Materia Medica, with illustrations, printed by Zhou Ruquan in his workshop, Wan juan lou (the Ten-Thousand-Volume Pavilion), indicates that the original work, published in 1565, did not have illustrations. In this new edition, each entry is illustrated. Also included and placed in front of the volumes are selected important names and portraits from Li dai ming yi tu (Illustrated records of famous medical men of the dynasties) by Xiong Zongli. In addition to the compiler’s own preface, there are three additional prefaces by Liu Kongdun (dated 1628), Xu Guo (1564), and Xiong Zongli (1476). O título na capa, Uma Nova e Ampliada Edição da Cartilha para a Materia Medica, com ilustrações, impressa por Zhou Ruquan em sua oficina, Wan juan lou (Pavilhão dos Dez Mil Volumes), indica que o trabalho original, publicado em 1565, não tinha ilustrações. Nesta nova edição, cada entrada é ilustrada. Também incluída e colocada na frente dos volumes, está uma seleção de nomes e retratos importantes de Li dai ming yi tu (Registros Ilustrados dos famosos médicos das dinastias), por Xiong Zongli.
