This wouldprepare the way for a favorable reception being given to theearliest preachers of the Gospel on their arrival in Mesopota-mia and Osraene, which must have taken place soon afterthe Ascension. Thaddeus accordingly began inthe power of God to heal every sickness and every disease,so that all men did marvel.
