Description
English: This is Ile-Aje, a shrine where the tribal people of Ile-Ife town and non-indigenes are coming to pray for 'blessings, wealth and good fortunes.' Along the garden path, there are tons of cowries erected on the surface that lead up to the shrine. And the Aje deity offers salt and palm oil in times of its annual celebration. This is one of the cultural heritage in Ile-Ife town rehabilitated by present Ife mornach, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, Ojaja II.
