Description
Italiano: Il sacello di Attis. Egnazia, Area sacra delle divinità orientali. L'ambiente è stato realizzato inserendosi in un portico di età tardorepubblicana. Si ritiene sia un Attideo, un luogo di culto dedicato a Attis, per analogia con altre strutture di culto delle divinità orientali, per il ritrovamento di frammenti di una statua di Attis (la testa e parte della mano, esposti nel museo) e per il basamento, su cui probabilmente poggiava la statua, sul quale si legge una dedica apposta da Flavia Cypare, sacerdotessa di Cibele e Syria.
