Fondo turchino a scomparti dorati. In basso un cartello sul quale si legge: PULCHRA ES ET DECORA FILIAHIERLEM. Figurazione consueta è questa nell'arte marchigiana: vi insistette soprattutto Francescuccio di Cecco Ghissi. L'accostamento alla Madonna dipinta da Maestro Antonio (stessa sala) non sembra confortato da affinità evidenti. Venne assegnata più verosimilmente a Lorenzo e Jacopo da Sanseverino (Giorgio Bernardini: l^assegna dArte,1915, 111.59). Stendardo su tela; m. 2.35X 1.72. Deposito del Capitolo Metropolitano. PIETRO DA RIMINI. — La sua attività non è determinata da alcuna data. Tuttavia si può con fondamento asserire che dovette esplicarsi nella prima metà del Trecento. Si hanno parecchie opere di sua mano: un Crocifisso firmato a Urbania; un S. Francesco che riceve le stimmate nel Museo di Minneapolis (Stati Uniti) ; una Deposizione dalla Croce nel Palazzo Gentili a Viterbo ; parecchi affreschi evocanti la Vita della Vergine in S. Maria in Porto fuori a Ravenna. P
