Description

Edifício térreo, com cobertura de duas águas e campanário saliente rematado por cinco cornijas, quatro janelas sineiras, três sinos, e um relógio com dois mostradores em mármore (um na fachada principal e outro na fachada lateral direita). Na fachada principal podem observar-se uma porta rectangular em madeira, um rodapé em azulejos, uma janela (com três frestas) e um cruzeiro em pedra incrustado na torre sineira. De planta longitudinal, a Igreja é composta por um vestíbulo (localizado sob o coro) com três portas e duas salas laterais, a do lado direito dá acesso à torre sineira. No seu interior podem ver-se: um coro alto (com escada), uma capela lateral à esquerda, uma porta que dá acesso à antiga capela mortuária e um transepto saliente (que do lado direito serve de baptistério). A cabeceira, retangular, tem em primeiro plano o altar-mor, e na retaguarda duas salas. No ângulo direito do altar-mor existe uma pedra sepulcral com o nome de Maria Felizarda da Costa e Silva (falecida em 2 de Fevereiro de 1833) e no lado esquerdo há uma porta que dá acesso à sacristia, que tem um lavabo antigo, em pedra, com o hábito da Ordem de Santiago. Síntese de intervenções:
