Conhecida como São Pedro de Fora, a primeira referência à sua existência, segundo Túlio Espanca, data de 1320. Uma outra referência conhecida é de 1342, altura em que o prelado de Évora, D. Martinho, cria dois cargos de Porcionários para Evoramonte. Aquando do terramoto de 1531, este templo é bastante afectado, tendo sofrido grande restauro no século XVI e reabrindo as portas ao culto logo em 1534. O telhado é recuperado em 1929 e em 1959, muito ao gosto da época, retirando-se o reboco dos arcos das naves e do presbitério para colocar a cantaria de granito visível. A igreja, de planta rectangular e três naves, apresenta fachada quinhentista. De salientar na fachada um interessante Signo de Salomão em mármore. O interior ainda apresenta arcaria ogival nas naves e no presbitério.
