[edit]DescriptionIgreja de São Gualter - Guimarães - Portugal (32371576893).jpg | A Igreja de planta longitudinal composta por nave única e capela-mor rectangular está implantada no sentido NE - SE. Os volumes articulados segundo coberturas diferenciadas em telhado de duas águas ( nave e capela-mor ) e três águas ( capela e sacristia ). A acrescentar o corpo da Igreja uma capela lateral e a sacristia inserem-se a SO. A fachada principal voltada a NE, convexa e revestida a azulejos azuis e brancos, composta por um portal, um janelão de sacada e duas estreitas janelas coroadas por um tímpano é encimado por uma cruz, ladeada por duas estátuas. Num plano ligeiramente recuado, duas torres sineiras, esguias, rematadas por coruchéus piramidais. Implantada sobre um terraço, servido por uma escadaria, de vários lanços, com balaustrada com pináculos é ladeada por pedestais com estátuas. Os Oratórios *2, ou Passos, são pequenas Capelas, compondo uma Via-Sacra, com os passos da Paixão de Jesus Cristo, compostos no seu interior de figuras esculpidas em madeira policromda, no tamanho natural. Todas executadas em granito, junto a Largos ou Ruas, são todos fechados com enormes portadas de madeira. Fazem parte do recheio da Igreja catorze quadros emoldurados a madrepérola que representam a via-sacra em gravuras policromadas, do séc. 18, francesas. Faz parte também uma bandeira processional pintada pelo artista suíço Roquemont. As duas esculturas a ladear a escadaria principal representam Sant'Iago Maior e S.
