| Description |
Situada na rua que lhe dá o nome e colocada perpendicularmente à capela do Senhor dos Passos, foi edificada em 1658, contra o alçado norte do casario da casa da Misericórdia. Igreja de uma só nave, planta rectangular coberta por abobada de berço. A capela – mor tem azulejos setecentistas, arco do triunfo, talha dourada. Pintura setecentista com tecto a ressaltar anjos como instrumentos do martírio. Edifício da Santa Casa da Misericórdia, na Rua da Misericórdia em Vila Alva. Retábulo de talha dourada, período barroco, escudo nacional, armas nacionais, tela pintada a óleo, “Visitação”. No mesmo altar a imagem do Senhor Morto. Na parede norte uma porta de acesso a Igreja do Senhor dos Passos. Este espaço de ligação entre as duas igrejas é bastante complexo. A Capela do Sr. dos Passos e a Igreja da Misericórdia estão ligadas entre si e integram o Museu de Arte Sacra e Arqueologia da Santa Casa da Misericórdia de Vila Alva. <a href="http://www.rotasturisticas.com/igreja_da_misericordia_vila_alva_cuba_local_de_culto_6035.html" rel="nofollow">www.rotasturisticas.com/igreja_da_misericordia_vila_alva_...</a> |
