Description

Igreja classificada como Imóvel de Interesse Público pelo Decreto nº 28/82, DR 47 de 26 Fevereiro 1982. Templo gótico em que se salienta a importância e qualidade dos frescos que decoram o seu interior. Nas abóbadas da nave e na capela-mor subsistem os escudos de Dom Rodrigo de Melo, do 1º Conde de Tentúgal e do Marquês de Ferreira. No local onde está situada a igreja, existiu em tempos idos uma necrópole medieval. Do espólio da igreja destaca-se a imagem pintada de Santa Catarina de Alexandria, no lado da Epístola o tecto decorado com motivos naturalistas e aves.
