Description
Português: A Igreja Matriz de São Jorge é a igreja católica mais antiga de Ilhéus, Bahia, Brasil. Construída em 1556, é um dos mais importantes monumentos históricos e arquitetônicos da cidade. Fica no centro de Ilhéus, na esquina da Rua Conselheiro Dantas, que é o pano de fundo da história contada no livro de Jorge Amado.
