La iglesia fue construída tal como la vemos en el siglo XV. De hecho, el estilo románico predominó en la región hasta esa época.

Su planta es de nave única y ábside rectangular y en su construcción participaron maestros canteros venidos de Galicia. Localizada no Outeiro Seco, concelho de Chaves, Vila Real, Portugal.
