Description
Español: Iglesia de la Veracruz. Templo religioso de culto católico romano bajo la advocación de la Vera Cruz o Santa Cruz, está situada en el centro de la ciudad de Medellín, Colombia, al costado occidental de la Plazuela del mismo nombre. Es uno de los templos más representativos de la ciudad. Construida a fines del siglo XVI y llamada inicialmente “Ermita de la Veracruz de los Forasteros” fue declarada patrimonio cultural de la nación en marzo 12 de 1982. Se observa el frontis de la iglesia y la plazuela, al costado izquierdo la calle Boyacá

Public domain This file is in the public domain because the copyright of this work, registered in Colombia, has expired, according to “Law 23 of 1982 on Copyright, Articles 11, 21-29”, amended by “Law 44 of 1993, Article 2” and “Law 1520 of 2012, Articles 4, 6 and 10” (details). However, some restrictions have to be addressed:
  • Author rights expire eighty (80) years after the death of the author or the death of the last coauthor.

  • In all cases where the applicable term of protection starts on the date of publication, the said term shall be understood to end on December 31 of the relevant year.
  • The author and the work source must be acknowledged when reused in Colombia, except if the author is unknown.

You must also include a United States public domain tag to indicate why this work is in the public domain in the United States. Note that a few countries have copyright terms longer than 80 years: Mexico has 100 years and Jamaica has 95 years. This image may not be in the public domain in these countries, which moreover do not implement the rule of the shorter term.
