(8677601997).jpg | A fines del siglo XIX, Biarritz era conocida como "la reina de las playas y la playa de los reyes", en muchos casos no era la fama de sus aguas medicinales cargadas de yodo y algas benéficas o la belleza del paisaje o lo fino de su arena, el motivo de la estadía en la ciudad también obedecía a razones de estado o conspiraciones varias. En el año 1892, luego de la alianza entre Francia y Rusia y bajo la iniciativa del zar Alejandro III, se erigió esta iglesia monumental "San Alejandro Nevski". De estilo bizantino maravilla por su cúpula pintada de azul y los íconos provenientes de San Petersburgo. |
