Description
English: On July 4, 1966 - the date set by the War Resisters International and the International Confederation for Disarmament and Peace for protest actions against the war in Vietnam at U.S embassies the world over - WRL vice-chairman Igal Roodenko was arrested while picketing the American embassy in Copenhagen. In the course of his trip he joined a group of Finnish pacifists in a 48-hour protest against the visit of Dean Rusk to Helsinki, and was again arrested while picketing the American embassy in Vienna.
