The sports hall is built in a national romantic style, which took place in the Nordic countries from the late 19th century into the 20th century. However, the building is known for the use of a very special reinforced concrete construction. The structure has been called a reinforced concrete half-timbered house. The masonry covers the reinforced concrete beams on the outside.
