Summary

English: Ice Pool This is an area of forestry land where rock has been extracted to provide hardcore for surfacing the tracks. Wet weather 10 days ago left a pool which has been slowly seeping away leaving collapsing layers of ice that had formed on the surface. The ice has remained unthawed by the sun because it is shaded by the trees. I think these are fast-growing silver firs to be used for joinery. |
