English: Taschner House (Haus Taschner) in Ibbenbüren, Kreis Steinfurt, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. The building, nowadays part of the Ibbenburen police station, is a listed cultural heritage monument.
Deutsch: Haus Taschner, Alte Münsterstraße 18/20, in Ibbenbüren, Kreis Steinfurt, Nordrhein-Westfalen, Deutschland. Mit seiner axial aufgebauten Fassade mit Tür- und Fenstergewänden aus Sandstein ist Haus Taschner ein typisches Ackerbürgerhaus aus dem frühen 19. Jahrhundert und laut Denkmalliste bedeutsam für den historischen Stadtkern. Das Gebäude erhielt in späteren Jahren einige Anbauten und wurde – gut zu erkennen – an der Ostseite verlängert. Frühere Eigentümer des Hauses waren Wahle, genannt Tönnies, und später Taschner. Das Wohnhaus steht seit 1986 komplett unter Denkmalschutz. 1988 wurde Haus Taschner umgebaut und saniert. Es beherbergt seit 1989 das Kriminalkommissariat, das über einen Anbau direkt mit der benachbarten Polizeiinspektion Ibbenbüren verbunden ist.
