Description I never found out what that imposing stone structure seen in the foreground was. All I could see was the powerful Horseshoe Falls, and various the spray and mist in various forms. Note the long fence beyond the building- I could spot people walking along that stretch of sidewalk all day taking pictures. A lady at a nearby Starbucks suggested I walk down the road adjoining our hotel so that I could get a sunrise over the falls the following morning. Well, the view of the sunrise from my hotel room was good enough, and at any rate, after having braved the slog over a steep 45° angled road earlier that day, I was in no mood to do it all over again.
