Magyar: IV. Károly király koronázás
IV. Károlyt 1916. december 30-án koronázták meg Budapesten. A koronázásra a Mátyás-templomban került sor, ahol – a koronázások történetében első ízben – a magyar himnuszt énekelték, nem az osztrákot. Vele együtt magyar királynévá koronázták feleségét, Zita Bourbon–pármai hercegnőt, akivel még 1911-ben kötött házasságot.[1]
English: Coronation of Charles I of Austria. Charles was crowned in Budapest on 30 December 1916. The coronation took place in the Matthias Church, where - for the first time in the history of coronations - the Hungarian national anthem was sung, not the Austrian. With him was crowned Hungarian queen wife, Zita of Bourbon-Parma princess, whom he married in 1911. To the left is Cardinal János Csernoch, Archbishop of Esztergom and Primate of Hungary. |
