Summary

[edit]
Description
English: I conceived iTATUKA, in my literal representation, a failed country, as Nigeria - presumed as the most powerful country in Africa. The photograph herein was drew by me and captured at night under a slight illumination to represent a depressing nation with shades of immoralities (corruption, crimes, etc.). The map behind iTATUKA represents the Nigerian state and the lettering in red signifies the spills of blood of innocent Nigerians. The boundary painted in blue represents a thin line of love binding the nation. And the 3 thick lines, after iTATKUA, drew apart, represents the 3 major tribes in Nigeria (Hausa, Igbo, and Yoruba). In all, Nigeria here is portrayed as a 'state of illusion' with a deceptive appearance of togetherness, where little love exists, among her indigenous people. https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=2395960554256&set=a.1181233066828.22570.1708246904&type=3&theater
