Description

Stamp of Italy for occupated areas of the former Hungary-Austrian monarchy - general issues; 1919; definitive stamp of the issue "Floreale - type I"; stamp from 1901 with three-line black overprint of a new value "1 / centesimo / di corona"; stamp motive with the eagle of Savoy and floral ornaments; stamp with watermark; mint stamp
Excurs to the background:
In Italian occupated territories of the former Austrian-Hungarian monarchy was not introduced the "Lire" as new currency, rather the old Austrian "Krone" (= crown = "corona") was kept as circulation currency.
