Description
English: The Moon, with Earth's shadow draping across it during a lunar eclipse and pictured just above the horizon, is dwarfed in between U.S. and Russian International Space Station components. At left, is the U.S. Northrop Grumman Cygnus space freighter, with Russia's Rassvet module at center, and a trio of Russian station elements attached to each other, including (from bottom to top) the Soyuz MS-21 crew ship, the Prichal docking module, and the Nauka multipurpose laboratory module. The station was orbitng 273 miles above the southern Indian Ocean off the coast of the French Southern and Antarctic Lands.
