Wildebeest is the mascot of GNU project, started by Richard Stallman in the early 80'. These artworks are made to show support to Free softwares. "Free" is as in "freedom".

Font In order to edit texts, please add the font named "Liberation Serif", if it's not already installed on your computer. See: Liberation fonts

Softwares to edit To edit the .svg (vector) sources files, you can use a Free software like Inkscape. Vector format enable to resize the work indefinitely, even making xxl sizes, without loss of resolution.

To edit the .png (bitmap) files, you can use a Free software like GIMP or Krita.

Le gnou est la mascotte du projet GNU, initié par Richard Stallman au début des années 80. Ces visuels ont été faits pour montrer son support aux logiciels Libres. "Libres", comme dans "libertés".
