Description
Deutsch: … zwischen einem Ks-Kuppelwagen und einer KISS-Doppelstockeinheit; durch den Kupplungsschaft mit Adapterplatte sind unterschiedliche Kuppelköpfe in passenden Höhen einbaubar. Die Hauptluftleitungsverbindung ist vergleichsweise einfach mit einem Adapter und einem Überwurf mit dem Absperrhahn verbunden.
Seit den 1960ern wurden fast alle neugebauten Wagen mit dem genormten Einbauraum für Mittelpufferkupplungen ausgerüstet. Viele wurden schon wieder ausgemustert, ohne dass diese Vorrüstung jemals genutzt worden ist. Dass diese für Kuppelwagen nutzbar ist, ist eher Zufall.
