Description
Deutsch: Die Gleise sind Reste der um 2000 endgültig geschlossenen Hafenbahn Kopenhagen, Islands Brygge war Kai des Handelshafens.
Schweißkonstruktion aus den Fünfzigern, ausgesprochen ungewöhnlich ist die hochliegende Bremserbühne mit in die Stirnwand eingelassener Mulde für die Handbremskurbel. Unter Fahrleitung ist sie nicht benutzbar. Wenn es seinerzeit in Dänemark auch keine Fernbahnelektrifizierung gab, wurden die Wagen doch von Anfang an international eingesetzt. Zur Bauzeit wurden im Regelbetrieb keine Züge mehr handgebremst gefahren. Zwei Vorteile hat die Konstruktion, sie erfordert keine vorgeschuhte Pufferbohle und der Laderaumverlust durch die Handbremsmulde liegt an einer unschädlichen Stelle im Dachraum.
