Description
Deutsch: Der Hochwasserscheitel ist zwar schon vor einigen Tagen durchgelaufen, der Durchfluss ist trotzdem noch so stark erhöht, dass die Schifffahrt und der Schleusenbetrieb eingestellt sind. Die Leitmauer im Unterwasser ist überspült.
Für den Bau der Schleuse wurde die westliche Wehröffnung verkleinert, vorher waren beide gleich breit. Beim Bau der Wehranlage war wegen der massiven Industrieabwasserbelastung nicht absehbar, dass es im Leipziger Gewässernetz jemals wieder Schifffahrt geben könnte.
