| Description |
Deutsch: Oberhalb von Dos Aguas und der Engstelle El Reventón, an der am 20. November 2001 drei Wanderer von einer Flutwelle erfasst wurden und umkamen, hier vereinigen sich die Barrrancos de Almendro amargo (von links) und Rivanceras (zum Aufnahmezeitpunkt und vorher als Barranco de Limonero bekannt). In letzterem liegt die bekannte Staustufe Cascada colorada (oder Cascada de los Colores). Das durch eisenhaltige Mineralien ockergefärbte Wasser kommt aus dem Barranco de Limonero, der Río Almendro amargo ist oberhalb der Mündung klar. Der Weg zur Playa de Taburiente zweigt schon vorher ab und verläuft links oberhalb durch den Hang, der enge Talgrund des Barranco Almendro amargo wäre ab der Mündung nur schwer begehbar. |
