Summary
[edit]DescriptionI-85 Corridor Improvement Project Seen from the Air.jpg |
English: This aerial image shows a portion of the work zone for phase one of the I-85 Corridor Improvement Project in Davidson and Rowan counties.
At the top of the photo is the newly constructed I-85 North bridge over the Yadkin River in Davidson and Rowan counties. It will open to traffic in early May after the completion of paving, striping and barrier wall work. The new bridge is four lanes wide and features a more modern design than the old bridge, which is shown in the center of the photo. The new I-85 South bridge is under construction and set to open to traffic in January 2013. |
