Description
English: Two mosses that commonly cover the floor of wet coniferous forests in the Pacific Northwest region of North America. Hylocomium splendens is the feather-like moss dominating the top half of the photo. Rhytidiadelphus loreus is the one resembling pipe cleaners that dominates the bottom half of the photo.
