English: Hurst Narrows. The western channel between the Isle of Wight and the mainland with Totland Pier in the foreground and Hurst Castle across the water. Taken in calm conditions but the channel, which is the narrowest between the island and the mainland, can be treacherous for small boats in strong tides and winds. |
