Summary
[edit]DescriptionHunza Valley Landslide Lake (cropped).jpg |
English: This natural-colour image shows an earthen dam formed by a landslide in the Hunza Valley and a lingering lake behind it. Engineers and army labourers carved a spillway through the dam, and water finally began flowing through it in late May 2010. At the southwestern end of the lake, whitewater rushes through the spillway. Elsewhere, the water appears blue-green. |
