Title
English: Hunting party outside the Treat family farm, Seattle, circa 1910
Description
English:

Harry Whitney Treat (1865-1922) and Olive Marion (Graef) Treat (1869-1945), along with their daughters Priscilla Grace (Treat) Van Sickler (1902-1979) and Loyal Graef (Treat) Nichols (1906-2004), were colorful high society figures in Seattle; their Queen Anne mansion and Loyal Heights farm were filled with vintage English coaches, period costumes, hunting dogs, and purebred English Hackney horses. Harry Treat was a real estate developer who established an electric trolley to promote the suburbs of Ballard, Loyal Heights, and Golden Gardens. In this image a group appears to be preparing for a hunt outside the Treat farm in Loyal Heights. Several men and boys are on horseback, the wagon holds about 10 women and girls, and a groom is attempting to wrangle the hunting dogs.
