Summary
[edit]DescriptionHunters Yard off Womack Water (geograph 2312972).jpg |
English: Hunter's Yard off Womack Water. Established in the 1930s by the Hunter family who built cabin yachts for hire and ran the yard until the 1960s when it was sold to Norfolk County Council for the Norfolk County Sailing Base. When the council decided to sell the fleet in 1995 a Norfolk Heritage Fleet Trust was formed to raise money to take on the yard, which they did in 1996. |
