ottle should fall on himand not on his neighbour. National Costumes. The National Huui^arian Court costume wornby magnates is the most attractive attire. Itconsists of a jacket of satin material, richlyembroidered with gold facings and with goldbuttons, and in some instances buttons ofdiamonds or other precious stones. Over thisan Attila coat is worn, similar in appearance tothe Hussar jacket. The same, too, is richlybraided, bordered with beautiful fur andfastened with a huge gold chain, also intermixedwith precious stones. Magnates wear tight-fitting breeches and top boots with spurs, theedges of these being ornamentally embroideredin gold. A smart fur cap has an ornament ofprecious stones placed in front to hold theplume, and a golden belt richly interspersed withprecious stones, to which depends a goldensabre picked out with gems, completes thecostume.
