Hessische Landesbank Notgeldschein über Hundert Millionen Mark

Dieser Geldschein wird im Volksstaat Hessen von den öffentlichen Kassen in Zahlung genommen. Er wird von der Hessischen Landesbank eingelöst und verliert seine Gültigkeit mit dem Tage der in der Darmstädter Zeitung öffentlich bekannt gegeben wird. Darmstadt, den 1. Oktober 1923 Direktorium der hessischen Landesbank.

Warnung auf der Banknote:

Wer Banknoten nachmacht oder verfälscht, oder nachgemachte oder verfälschte sich verschafft und in

Verkehr bringt, wird mit Zuchthaus nicht unter zwei Jahren bestraft.

Dimensions: approx. 126 mm x 75 mm (measured by myself on the used note, so the measurements can be inaccurate)

Hessische Landesbank emergency bank note over A hundred million marks

This banknote is accepted in payment from the public treasury in the state of Hesse. It is redeemed by the Hessische Landesbank and loses its validity on the day that is publicly announced in the Darmstädter Zeitung. Darmstadt, October 1, 1923 Board of Directors of the Hessian Landesbank.

Warning on the banknote:

Anyone who imitates or falsifies banknotes, or who procures them or falsifies them and puts them into circulation, will not be penalized for less than two years
