Summary
[edit]DescriptionHumvee turret showing fifty caliber MG.jpg |
The turret up top rotates with mechanical assistance. It's weird how the HMMWV is contorting its way into an armored personnel carrier. The military did something very clever -- it brought a group of National Guardsmen who are farmers in as special advisors on agricultural reconstruction. They came by the Taj for an informal briefing on our work, and I was really impressed with their knowledge, insight, and compassion for the Afghans. |
