Meyer Schiffswerft & Maschinenfabrik, Papenburg, as sail powered fishing EMDEN (Segellogger AE 1), for Reederei Emder Heringsfischerei, Emden (yard № 302, launched: 04-1914, delivered: 06-1914, 106 GRT, 24.09 x 6.53 x 3.02 m), 1928 engined (HMG Diesel, 60 hp), 04-1934 lengthened (127 GRT, 26.71 x 6.53 x 3.01 m), 04-1940 seized by Kriegsmarine (German Navy), 02-07-1940 Vorpostenboot V 1907 EMDEN, 15-02-1944 Vorpostensicherungsboot Vs 507 EMDEN, 10-08-1945 returned to owner, 01-1950 re-engined (Tuxham, 80 hp), 12-1952 sold to Heinz Christensen, Kappeln, and converted to cargo ship (135 GRT), 02-1953 renamed CHRISTIAN I (Karl Heinz Christensen, Kappeln), 02-1954 re-engined at Siegfried-Werft, Eckernförde (WUMAG, 150 hp), 04-1955 CHRISTIAN I (Vera Christensen, Kappeln), 08-04-1959 sunk near Sejerø lighthouse (Gilleleje-Sønderborg), 05-1959 raised by Otmar Harmstorff & Söhne and towed to Kiel for repairs, 10-1959 sold to Hermann & Harry Hinrichsen, Flensburg (cargo/salvage ship, 134.5 GRT), 02-1960 renamed HUMOR (Hermann Hinrichsen, Flensburg), 1966 re-engined (MAK, 550 hp), 1983 broken up at Egernsund; photo by J.
