Sequences and accession numbers obtained from NCBI. Amino acids conserved between sequences are in bold. Pink region represents the location of the Il2rg (interleukin 2 receptor gamma chain) domain on human CXorf65, where 12/16 conserved amino acids (75%) reside. Yellow column highlights the human CXorf65’s phosphorylation site, which is not present in bony fish.
