Description
English: Multiple sequence alignment of distant human CXorf65 orthologs made using ClustalW. Sequences include: H. sapiens (Humans, NP_001020436.1) = Hsap, R. temporaria (Common Frog, XP_040190360.1) = Rtem, X. tropicalis (Western Clawed Frog, XP_031762493.1) = Xtro, R. bivittatum (Rhinatrema Caecilian, XP_029463822.1) = Rbiv [5’ shortened by 86aa], S. canicula (Small-Spotted Catshark, XP_038631929.1) = Scan, S. fasciatum (Zebra Shark, XP_048400770.1) = Sfas, P. miniata (Bat Star, XP_038074336.1) = Pmin, G. aegis (Deep Sea Snail, XP_041354637.1) = Gaeg, S. pistillata (Hood Coral, XP_022783149.1) = Spis. Sequences and accession numbers obtained from NCBI. Amino acids conserved between sequences are in bold. Pink region represents the location of the Il2rg (interleukin 2 receptor gamma chain) domain on human CXorf65, where 6/7 conserved amino acids (85.7%) reside.
