| Description |
English: Hull, HU1. Sets of tracks and a couple of the platforms at Hull station. The name of the station relates to a nearby street name. The current station of 2.5 acres (10,000 m2) was opened for public use by The York and North Midland Railway as the "Hull Paragon Street Station" in May 1848. It is described as "the last of Britain's great barrel-vaulted glass-and-iron railway stations to be built". Seven platforms are housed under 5 spans. |
