| Description |
English: Hull Prison, Hull, East Riding of Yorkshire, England. The main entrance to H.M. Prison, Hull, looking north across Hedon Road. There's still a public footpath marked on the map which leads from the Haller Street junction on Southcoates Lane to Holderness Drain near the southeast corner of Bilsdale Grove behind the cemetery, despite the fact that the prison was extended northwards across the footpath many years ago. I don't suppose anyone's told the inmates there's a public right of way leading right over the wall, although I must admit I haven't tried it out. Something tells me getting in to this place might be a bit easier than getting out again. |
