Description
English: Hugh's Tower, The Hides, Harlow, Essex - 12 storey, 45 dwelling block. Commissioned by Harlow New Town Development Corporation. Construction was started in 1955 and completed in 1956. The architects were HDC Design and the building contractor was Wimpey. The same design was used for several of Harlow's tower blocks of this era.
