English: NASA Associate Administrator of the Science Mission Directorate Edward Weiler speaks at the podium as Senator Barbara A. Mikulski (below, center), Space Science Institute Senior Research Scientist Heidi Hammel, and Hubble Senior Project Scientist David Leckrone (on stage, left) listen. During this press conference on September 9, 2009, NASA unveiled new images from four of the Hubble Space Telescope's six operating science instruments. The images would show off the new capabilities of the upgraded telescope.
