日本語: 芳山二尊石仏。芳山（ほやま）は、東大寺三月堂衆が明治にいたるまで千日花供の行場としていたという。修行者は鶯の滝から尾根伝いに芳山を経て石切峠と歩いたとのこと（解説参考：太田古朴「石仏柳生街道」1968、10頁）。昭和5年まで横倒しになり寝仏と呼ばれていたが、昭和11年に石を起こし南面して据え、礼拝堂が建てられた。また新薬師寺の地蔵堂にある奈良時代石仏と作風が似ていることが指摘されている（解説参考：清水俊明「大和の石仏」1973、72-73頁）。 |
