Description Margate, Kent, England, showing the old Hoy Hotel in the background, right hand side. In 1866, Captain John Morley Hudson and mate Francis Edward "Frank" Fitch stayed in the Hoy, after their difficult journey across the Atlantic in the Red, White and Blue lifeboat.
