na compacta. A dwarf and distinct form of the pretty Globe Ama-ranthus; of very compact growth, attaining only five inches in height, by eight in diameter; theflowers are rich purple, same size as the old kinds; valuable both as a bedding and borderplant 15 Helichrysum Fireball, Double Crimson. A new and very brilliant everlasting, with flow-ers of the richest crimson-maroon; a bright and pleasing contrast to the ordinary dull choco-late red variety 20 Earkspur, Double Stock-flowered, Eustrous Carmine. This is a new and constant color,surpassing in beauty most of the shades of annual Larkspurs which have yet been introduced.The color is of a fiery or lustrous caimine, and by judicious planting brilliant effects may beproduced 25 Einaria Maroccana, hybrid, mixed. Gomphrena Globosa Nana Compacta. P. ii. Papaver Umbrosum P. 28. Marigold, French Compact, Gold Striped. An elegant variety, the result of many yearscareful selection. The plants are very compact, attaining a height of about six inches and adiameter of about twelve inches; thickly studded with large flowers, regularly striped withbright yellow and chestnut color, very uniform in growth, and one of the very best for bedding. .25 Mesembryanthemum Cordifolium Variegatum. One of the best variegated summer bed-ding plants in cultivation • • • .25 Mesembryanthemum tigrinum. A dwarf succulent plant, with bright yellow flowers andmany-toothed leaves, which resemble the jaws of a tiger; suitable for pots or bedding 25 Mignonette, Golden Queen. An attractive and distinct variety, of dense pyramidal habit of •growth. It throws up very numerous flower-stalks, terminated by spikes of golden-yellowblossoms, with which the bright-green foliage of the plant terms a pleasing contrast 25 Mimulus
