English: House overlooking Hindon Beck The view is from the western edge of Cowclose Plantation, whose northwest corner extends almost to the house. The slopes directly below the house fall to Hindon Beck and a smaller tributary, and are crossed by the bridleway from Copley to Cowley, part of the Gaunless Valley circular walk. The muddy track was rendered easy walking by being frozen under its light coating of snow, despite the bright sunshine on the south-facing slope. |
