Summary
[edit]DescriptionHouse By The Sea by Carroll Jones III.jpg |
English: "When I first envisioned "House By The Sea", I wanted to implement the three primary colors: red, yellow, and blue. All an exercise. The image of a yellow house against a cobalt blue sky was lush with possibilities. After the full drawing of the house was completed on the canvas, I had a change of heart. The structure so looked as if it was looking out over the ocean, I decided to paint an airy August day. The yellow paled, the sky became a soft blue grey. If you listen carefully, you can hear the plaintive cry of distant seabirds, the gentle waves and pastel voices of summer." C.Jones III |
