Description
Português: Atualmente, o Novo Hotel Municipal pertence ao grupo Karan. De acordo com a gerente geral Flaviana dos Santos Correia, a fachada, assim como portas, janelas, quartos, banheiros e parte do piso são originais de sua inauguração.

Mas muitos, que conheciam o antigo hotel, ficam curiosos em saber como ele está por dentro, acabam entrando para dar uma olhadinha no local e acabam contando histórias de uma época encantadora.

"Uma das histórias mais contadas por é a do apartamento 204, que tem uma sacada que dá direto para rua. Quando as mulheres se hospedavam nele, passavam horas penteando o cabelo na sacada para que todos vissem que ela estava em um hotel. Outro caso interessante foi quando uma senhora ligou e eu ofereci o quarto do subsolo e ela se ofendeu. Eu não entendi, foi então que ela veio e me explicou que antigamente os quartos do subsolo eram ocupados pelas amantes. Então, os barões ficavam em cima e as empregadas e acompanhantes ficavam embaixo", conta.
